Initially, brick raw material and paper processing residues were dried at 100 °C in oven. Then, they were powdered by a disc mill (Fritsch, Pulverisette 13). Dewatered residue was blended with industrially used ceramic powder in a Heidolph mixer at a mixing speed (650–800 rpm) for 30 min. The resulting blends contained up to 30 wt% of wastes.
